The Major Arcana #0 The Fool!!

> Posted by admin in Uncategorized
11 24th, 2008

So are you excited about learning tarot cards, their meaning and how to use them in a reading? Yeah, Well then lets get on with it. I am going to start you with the Major Arcana, these are very important cards when they come up in a reading because instead of just being about a single part of your life they ususally encompass all of it. There are 22 cards in the Major Arcana so here we go with #0 in learning tarot, The Fool!

This is the youngest greenest card in the whole deck. Most of the decks show a young person just heading out into the world, ready for what ever comes his/her way. I love this card because it represents not having any ingrained beliefs or strong opinions about the world, just being brand new and exploring it.

In the reading The Fool represents just doing things because they are there to do. Like a young child would go into something with no fear, just optomism. Being totally green and jumping into something. I like to describe it as just leaping with out looking first.

I encourage you to do some reading on each card away from this blog so you get your own maening for each of the cards. Everyone percieves things differently and puts their soul into the cards so I am trying to be as basic as possible. So go explore and enjoy the journey of learing tarot. In doing this be sure to really study the card in your deck to help you remember what the card represents to you.
